Capcom reports 290 percent profit boost from Dragon’s Dogma

Capcom has recorded a 290 percent rise in profits, largely due to its success with Dragon's Dogma, which sold over one million copies.

The percent increase covers the first quarter ending June 30, rising to $16.88 million from this time last year. Net sales for the period spiked 55.8 percent to $238.2 million.

The company also reported that Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City has shipped 450,000 units across Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC.
