The latest Neptunia V screenshots have landed on the good ol' internet, and with them comes some info on the upcoming JRPG from Compile Heart. It looks like the game will feature four important gameplay systems, each of which will allow you to do different things within the world of Neptunia V.
The Kenbusha System allows you to send contractors out to dungeons. When they return, they'll bring back important information, items, and experience. Of course, in order to get the most out of the contractors' spoils, you'll need to choose whether or not to believe them when they share news, and answering the right way will grant you more rewards.
The Disc Make System is where you'll create games, per se. What you're actually making is equipment, and depending on what types of special ability chips you use, you'll either end up with a good game or a bad game.
There's also the Nepstation, which is where you'll be able to retrieve news and valuable info. You'll also get the chance to score some sweet rare items depending on how certain actions are ranked. Here's hoping Chirper, the series' parody of Twitter, makes a grand return.
Last is Combo Make, which is, you guessed it, Neptunia V's combo creation mechanic. This feature was prominent in Hyperdimension Neptunia mk2, and it added a nice touch to the game's battles. It was still pretty simple, but it was enjoyable.
Compile Heart usually releases its games here in North America, so I really hope it isn't too long until we get Neptunia V. I've got a hankerin' for some parody JRPG goodness!
