Rhythm Thief is taking his groove to iOS

Rhythm Thief & The Emperor's Treasure is coming to iOS devices this winter, according to a listing on Sega's Japanese site.

The translation seems to suggest that the game will be free with in-app purchases. It might also feature leaderboards — a social component in place of the original 3DS game's two-player option.

The rhythm-puzzler debuted on Nintendo's handheld in July.
