Mike Ross, best known for his high level Street Fighter IV performances in tournaments across the country with his E Honda play and for his role as host of Cross Counter Live and The Excellent Adventures of Mike and Gootecks has announced today that he will be leaving CompLexity Gaming. However, it appears that he is by no means done with competing or participating in the FGC.
"I just want to say that I had a blast being a part of compLexity. I will definitely miss competing as a teammate," said Ross, via Complexity's website. "However this isn't the end of the road for me. This doesn't mean that I'm leaving the FGC and competing completely. I will still try to make it out to all the events that I can. I would not let these amazing talents (or lack thereof) go to such waste."
This marks the second player departure in as many months for Complexity.FGC, with Combofiend also announcing his departure a little over a month ago. The only remaining member of coL is Ryan "FilipinoChamp" Ramirez – one has to wonder what is going on with CoL.
According to the press release, Mike Ross will be revealing details about what's next for him in the coming weeks – we'll keep you posted, so keep it locked to GameZone.
