It's a small selection yet again for Nintendo downloads. Luckily, one of the games on the list is a true gem, and it's a game that's deserved to be a part of WiiWare for a long time. Before we get to that, though, you should know that you have until October 1 to snag a free download of Pokedex 3D before the title is removed entirely from the eShop. So yeah, get to it!
Okay, now without further adieu, here it is: La-Mulana is finally, finally available on WiiWare. Yeah, buddy! The retro-inspired indie gem will run you 1,000 Wii Points. If you're looking for an old school challenge, here it is. Glad this is finally out on WiiWare.
I would call it a day there, but the 3DS has some noteworthy content of its own. For starters, we've got Rising Board 3D, a runner game where you guide a snowboarding penguin and collect pick-ups. Seriously, it actually looks pretty fun, and it's only $2.99. There's also a demo for The "Denpa" Men: They Came by Wave, which is due out next week and looks kind of interesting.
Last is DSiWare with Retro Pocket for $4.99. This one's is inspired by those old LED games. Not sure how good it'll be, but I dug the music in the trailer.
