Video Gaming Hard Corps presents Triple Threat II – A South Florida FGC event!

I've recently had the opportunity to work with a great group of gamers: Video Gaming Hard Corps. VGHC started out as a group of friends who got together on Facebook to discuss the latest happenings in the gaming industry with like minded individuals. Now, it's become so much more than that, as we make our foray into competitive gaming.

Over the past couple of months, we've been pushing our own brand of competitive gaming on the South Florida FGC scene, and we've run one successful tournament at GXE in Pompano Beach, FL so far. But now, we're set to kick the lid off the can and really push things to the next level with our next tournament, Triple Threat II at the Zero Ping Lan Center in Hollywood, FL. We'll be catching action in Persona 4 Arena, Super Street Fighter 4 AE, Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 and Tekken Tag Tournament 2 – a mix of the latest in the FGC and some classics that have stood the test of time in a sea of fighting games being released every year.

GameZone's eSports Correspondent Dustin Steiner will be on hand to have a chat with the champion from each game of our tournament – past pro level players we've had at our events included AGE's Flash Metroid, Dark Hokage and GU's Tayson. You can check out the hype video made by VGHC FGC Ambassador Ray Linsalato for the event below:

For more information on the tournament, I've also included the flyer, and a link to the Facebook event here:

Several pro level players have already RSVP'd to the event (including GU's Flocker, Evo Top 8 in UMvC3, Tayson, and many others) – where will you be? If you can't be at the event, we will have two streams of the event running, which I've embedded below. The action will kick off at 1:00PM. We can't wait to see you there! Be sure to stop and say hello to Dustin at the event!

Stream A: Super Street Fighter IV AE 2012 and UMvC3

Stream B: Persona/Tekken Tag 2
