Major League Gaming's Fall Championship just keeps getting better and better. Today MLG announced that Sony's PlayStation All Stars Battle Royale will be featured in a free to enter tournament at the event in Dallas TX from November 2nd-4th. As if that wasn't enough, the event will feature a $5,000 prize pool!
Though this is the first ever competitive event for PlayStation All Stars, it is not the first time that MLG has hosted a tournament for this style of game. Nintendo's Smash series was a staple of MLG events in the early years of its existance, and even as recently as 2010, had hosted a Brawl tournament. One has to wonder if champions of MLG's past will be making the trip to Dallas to compete in the unique genre of fighter that the Smash series, and now PS All Stars, is known for.
With six tournaments being hosted at the Fall Championships, one thing is for sure – Dallas is going to be insane, and will have many memorable moments. Keep it locked here to GameZone as we'll be live on the floor bringing you player interviews, fan reactions, impressions of Halo 4 and PS All Stars (both of which are featured in prerelease tournaments) and much much more.
