Whether the 3DS is outselling the PlayStation Vita is not even a question at this point, but just how much is Nintendo winning?
Sony's PlayStation Vita hit bottom in Japan last week with 4,021 units sold — a new low. The 3DS sold nearly 47 times that number with 187,077 units.
The release of Animal Crossing: New Leaf for 3DS helped significantly as the game debuted at No. 1 with 721,786 copies sold.
Still, the Vita is struggling — none of its games are in the top 30 while Nintendo has 14 titles on that chart. No new games came out for the Vita last week, either.
Support for the Vita is low everywhere, though, it seems. Sony lowered its sales forecast for PS VIta and the PSP this month for the third time this year.
