The Walking Dead is all the rage right now. There's the graphic novel from Robert Kirkman, the award-winning AMC show, Telltale's adventure game, and the upcoming first-person shooter from Activision. Still, there's room for more, and as of last week The Walking Dead saw an iOS game release.
Episode one of Gamagio's The Walking Dead: Assault released on Friday. Titled "Days Gone Bye", it begins at the point Rick awakes in the hospital in Issue #1 and takes you from those beginning moments through Atlanta, and ultimately to the invasion of the camp.
In the game you'll play as Rick, Glenn, Shane, Carl, and many more. I haven't yet played the game, but it appears you assemble a team of four, hunt for supplies, purchase new items and upgrades, and use your unique special abilities and distractions to survive. If there's one thing I've learned from the comics and show, though, it's that no one survives.
