Wetwork:
DESIGNATION: MJOLNIR POWERED ASSAULT ARMOR SYSTEM [GEN2] – WETWORK
MANUFACTURER: LETHBRIDGE INDUSTRIAL
ALTHOUGH NOT OFTEN ENCOUNTERED IN THE FIELD, WETWORK-CLASS ARMOR IS GENERALLY EMPLOYED IN HIGH-VALUE TARGET ACQUISITION AND ELIMINATION SCENARIOS. ITS MOST NOTABLE USE WAS HIGHLY CLASSIFIED: THE TARGETING OF KEY REBEL LEADERS ON THE SURFACE OF TALITSA BY DELTA SIX OPERATIVES.
Stealth Mod: For you stealth types who like to hide in the shadows and become total opportunists, the Wetwork is your class. Through the Stealth Mod, you’ll receive quitter footsteps, faster assassination animations, and show up less via Promethean Vision. This will allow you sneak around easier, close the gaps quieter, and instant kill faster. There is nothing more frustrating as being assassinated and there is nothing more rewarding than assassinating someone. The Wetwork gives all of this to you in one place.
Weapon Skin: DMR
Tracker:
A PRACTICE WHICH BECAME UBIQUITOUS IN THE LATE 23RD CENTURY DURING THE INTERPLANETARY CONFLICTS, “OFF-WORLD TRACKING” IS NOW FULLY INTEGRATED INTO THE VAST FEATURE SET OF MJOLNIR GEN2 ARMOR. TRACKER-CLASS ARMOR ASSISTS IN LOCATING TARGETS ACROSS EXCESSIVELY LONG DISTANCES, INCLUDING BOTH INTERPLANETARY AND EVEN INTERSTELLAR SHADOWING.
Requisition Mod: Trackers get their specific needs met. If they pull off a series of kills and receive and ordinance drop, they can choose to recall those options to get brand new ones. This allows the Tracker to get what they want when they want it. No more “I guess I go with this” and more of exactly what you want. The Requisition Mod allows for players to get more of the non-standard issue load outs.
Weapon Skin: Boltshot
Stalker:
BASED LOOSELY ON THE TECHNOLOGY RECOVERED FROM JIRALHANAE ENEMY TARGETS INFORMALLY DUBBED “BRUTE STALKERS,” THE STALKER-CLASS FOR GEN2 ARMOR SYSTEMS OFFERS A VAST ARRAY OF HUNTER-TRACKER FIELD IMPROVEMENTS NOW CONSIDERED PRODIGIOUS AMONG REMAINING D-6 OPERATIVES.
Nemesis Armor Mod: Look, we all hate dying. Sometimes the sniper takes you out from across the map and your curse his/her name the entire time you respawn. There is nothing more rewarding than hunting down that person now that you know where they are camping. For you, there is the Nemesis Armor Mod. As the Stalker, you know where the person is that killed you after you respawn. Find them, hunt them down, assassinate them in the most brutal way possible, and laugh.
Weapon Skin: Battle Riffle
Rogue:
ROGUE-CLASS ARMOR WAS ORIGINALLY MANUFACTURED BY THE VESTOL CORPORATION LOCATED ON TRIBUTE, BUT THE RAZING OF EPSILON ERIDANI BY THE COVENANT IN 2552 ALLOWED HANNIBAL WEAPON SYSTEMS TAKE OVER OF THE ARMOR’S PRODUCTION THREE YEARS LATER.
Stability Mod: If you’re in the thick of it in combat, you know how crucial those aimed head shots are; nothing to harder than making those shots while getting shot at yourself. Enter the Rogue. With the Stability Mod you’re able to stay stable while aiming as you’re getting shot at. This could make all the difference in a fire fight. This mod is one of those more over all most useful and less situational than the others.
Weapon Skin: Covenant Carbine
Pioneer:
EQUIPPED BY SPARTANS PROVIDING PROTECTION TO ONI EXPEDITIONARY GROUPS, ACHERON SECURITY'S PIONEER-CLASS ARMOR WAS CONSTRUCTED TO ENDURE THE RIGORS OF A POTENTIALLY HOSTILE, ALIEN ENVIRONMENT AND TO OPTIMIZE OVERALL PERFORMANCE THROUGH INHIBITOR MITIGATION.
Fast Track Mod: In my personal preference, the Pioneer’s Fast Track Mod is a must. Get the XP bonus early and then move on to whatever you want. Sure it takes up your mod slow but it gets you an extra 20% XP, that’s a pretty big deal. So if you’re playing for reals and want to win, if may not be the be best for your load out. If you’re mindlessly grinding then throw this bad boy on. Note: it doesn’t work with double XP events.
Weapon Skin: Plasma Pistol
Pathfinder:
THE PATHFINDER-CLASS ARMOR SYSTEM WAS MANUFACTURED BY IMBRIUM MACHINE COMPLEX (IMC) AND FULLY TESTED IN THE BRUTAL OUTLAND CONDITIONS OF “BOSQUE DE NEGRO,” LUNA’S INFAMOUSLY HARROWING BLACK FOREST.
Gunner Mod: When I think Pathfinder, I think a lightly armed recon troop scouting the path ahead. This is not the Pathfinder. This class plays more like Rambo than anything else – think of it as literally making the path through bullets. When firing a mounted gun, it will cool down faster and overheat slower. On top of that, the Pathfinder moves at normal speed while carrying a detached weapon to bring the pain to the front lines.
Weapon Skin: Assault Riffle
Operator:
WITH THE ABANDONMENT OF ALL CDS FACILITIES ON MERIDIAN, THE NAPHTALI CONTRACTOR CORPORATION TOOK OVER PRODUCTION OF THE OPERATOR-CLASS ARMOR, WHICH IS NOW EXTENSIVELY TESTED WITH LIVE FIRE EXERCISES WITHIN AN IMMENSE DERELICT SHIPYARD OUTSIDE THE CITY OF ABILENE.
Wheelman Mod: If vehicles are your thing, then you are an Operator. At the start of a map if you’re rushing for the vehicle of your choice and sure the names of your teammates that get their first – you’re an Operator. Any vehicle driven by an Operator will regenerate shields faster and recovers from EMP blast faster. These skins both aid the refined ‘play it safe’ Operator as well as the one in the Warthog trying to run over entire armies; buckle up.
Weapon Skin: Magnum
Engineer:
EXPEDITIONS TO THE VOLATILE MOON OF THALES SAW THE FIRST DEPLOYMENT OF LETHBRIDGE INDUSTRIAL'S ENGINEER-CLASS ARMOR, SPECIFICALLY DESIGNED TO OPTIMIZE SUBVERSION, REPAIR, AND THE RECONSTITUTION OF A WIDE RANGE OF TECHNOLOGY IN THE FIELD.
Drop Recon Mod: The engineer class is ideal of those who like to dominate maps through drop weapon caches. If you’re a huge fan of the weapons that you can’t use as your starting load out, Engineer may be what you’re looking for. They will know where drops happen before others do. You’ll be able to get there first and defend the perimeter before foes take the goodies for themselves.
Weapon Skin: Surpressor
Alright Spartans, it’s time we talk about specializations in Halo 4. Once you get your Spartan to SR 50 you gain the option to specialize. There is no downside to specializing, and you should do it the moment you are allowed to. The only quasi-difficult part is picking which of the 8 to start with. Unless you preordered the Halo 4 Limited Edition, you only start with two specializations – Wetwork and Operator. As part of the Specialization Priority Alpha initiative, Microsoft emailed players who had been playing online 2 weeks after release a code to unlock the other six specializations instantly.
The moment you select your specialization, you are committed to it for 10 levels. When you reach SR 60 and every tenth level after, you select a new specialization until you’ve mastered all eight of them. In a match you can switch between load outs and different specialization weapons and abilities. During these ten levels of specializations, you will unlock unique weapon skins, armors, visors, and eventually a powerful perk mod. Unless you are really into customizing the look of your Spartan, I would recommend choosing a specialization based off which level 10 perk you want; either that, or just get them all.
Engineer:
Drop Recon Mod: Before other players are alerted about drops coming down into the map, the Engineer knows. Engineers know where drops will occur locally a few seconds before other players do. The arrows that tell where the drops are will have a longer range for Engineers.
Weapon Skin: Suppressor
Operator:
Wheelman Mod: If EMP shots are a problem while driving your favorite vehicles, the Wheelman Mod is for you. An Operator will recover quickly from a charged plasma pistol, so drive / fly on. In addition, the health of the health of vehicles the operator drives recharges faster.
Weapon Skin: Magnum
Pathfinder:
Gunner Mod: You are the Goose to the Operator’s Maverick. With the Gunner Mod, vehicle weapons overheat slower and cooldown faster. The Pathfinder also moves at normal speed while carrying a detached weapon.
Weapon Skin: Assault Riffle
Pioneer:
Fast Track Mod: This mod will gain you more experience after each match, but only while you’re using a load out with this mod. Fast Track offers about 20% extra experience while attached. NOTE – double XP bonus won't stack with the Fast Track Mod, you won't receive 40% extra XP (you'll stay at 20% extra XP).
Weapon Skin: Plasma Pistol
Rogue:
Stability Mod: The Rogue believes in accurate shot every time. With the Stability Mod, a Rouge’s aim is more stable even while being shot.
Weapon Skin: Covenant Carbine
Stalker:
Nemesis Armor Mod: Vengeance is in the blood of the Stalker Spartan. After dying, the Stalker is aware of where the foe that killed him is located for five seconds after respawning.
Weapon Skin: Battle Riffle
Tracker:
Requisition Mod: Tracker’s know what they want and they get what they want; the heart wants what the heart wants. After receiving options for which ordinance drops are available, the requisition mod allows the player to recall their ordnance requests to acquire better weapons in the battlefield.
Weapon Skin: Boltshot
Wetwork:
Stealth Mod: The Wetwork operative works hidden and in silence. With the Stealth Mod perk the Wetwork operative receives quieter footsteps, faster assassination animations, and shows up less on Promethean Vision – instead of seeing a heat signal, your foes only see your outline.
Weapon Skin: DMR
