Call of Duty Black Ops 2 is finally here. As most of you will soon find out, jumping straight into multiplayer without any idea of the maps, weapons and scorestreaks will be difficult. Luckily for you, I’ve been playing the game almost exclusively with countless trial and error to bring you my thoughts and weapon choices for each map. You see, every map is vastly different from one another and you have five different classes to make, so you better make good use of them. I will be going in alphabetical order for the on-disk maps while DLC maps (such as Nuketown 2025) will be last. When the first pack of DLC comes out, I will add to this ever-expanding list.
Map #6 Hijacked
Hijacked takes place on a cruise ship that has seen better days, you know, before armed soldiers were running around on it. This cruise ship features a lot of close encounters and narrow passages that are perfect for SMG and shotgun players.
The outsides of the ship are where most of the action takes place with the left and right sides being very cramped and narrow. There are also second-level zones on each side of the ship where you can get a great vantage point of the action. These zones are an excellent way to see most of the map, half of it anyway, and you can pick up a lot of easy kills here to build your scorestreaks.
The ship also features an open middle area that is overlooked by the second level areas mentioned above. This are also connects all four narrow sides of the ship making it the official battle zone of the level. Keeping an eye on the three corners that you aren’t in is paramount to success in Hijacked. Entering the middle area without looking over the battlefield first is a big mistake and can be costly if you rush out into the open.
Weapon Recommendation
For Hijacked, I ran around with my favorite SMG, the Skorpion EVO because of its high damage rate. I also added the Quickdraw Handle to be able to aim faster and the Target Finder to be able to see enemies easier. I also picked the Claymore in order to kill people down the narrow hallways on the outsides of the ship.
I also recommend the Shock charge, this way you can throw one towards one of the hallways and be alerted if an enemy runs past it. It is very helpful if you’re trying to scout the battlefield.

Hellstorm Missile – Throw this down in the middle of the map and watch the cluster clear everyone.
Lightning Strike – Pick the 3 outsides of the map that you aren’t in
UAV – Find out where everyone is
Hunter Killer – Throw this in one of the corners of the map
Care Package – Hope you get a great Scorestreak
Overall Thoughts
I like Hijacked a lot. It seems like it’s the map that I play most so it’s a good thing that it’s an excellent map. The close quarters sections of the map are well done and it reduces the need for Snipers, which is fine by me. Just remember to check your surrounding before running out into the open in the middle of the map since enemies will be watching that section very closely. Remember; take a SMG or a shotgun into this fight if you want to be successful.
