Both Dead Space 3 and Crysis 3 are scheduled to come out next month. While some gamers are still weary of the changes for Dead Space 3, the game is outselling its predecessor, Dead Space 2 in pre-orders. Crysis 3 is similarly tracking 40% ahead of Crysis 2 in pre-orders as well.
Dead Space 3 will play host to new gameplay mechanics such as a online co-op, and extensive crafting. During our demo playthrough, we were able to get a feel for both of those mechanics, and it didn't disappoint. Sure it might be a little light on scares (or at least the initial level was) but the co-op actually seems to fit rather well into the game.
Crysis 3 will once again star Prophet, 20 years after the events of Crysis 2. The theme here however is that he's less the hunted and becomes the hunter. Two days ago, the Multiplayer Beta went live which let us get a taste of two modes, Crash Site and Hunter. Both modes were fast-paced, exhilirating and really fun, so gamers have a lot to look forward to. You can check out our Let's Play video here.
Dead Space 3 will be available February 5th on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC. Crysis 3 will be available on February 19th on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.
