Ubisoft planning Might and Magic 10 reveal at PAX East

Ubisoft teased an announcement today for what appears to be Might & Magic 10, which would mark the newest main entry in the fantasy role-playing series since 2002.

A webpage on Ubisoft's site reveals a giant X with the words "Meet us at PAX East!" written underneath.

The series has spawned releases in the Heroes of Might and Magic turn-based strategy line as well as Clash of Heroes, the puzzle-adventure game, but this teaser is geared at the series that started in 1986 on Apple 2 (and later other computers).

The official Facebook page linked to a rundown of all nine existing games and told readers to "stay tuned as more is to come."

New World Computing originally developed the games and was later absorbed by publisher 3DO. Ubisoft took over for 3DO when it folded in 2003.
