Happy one-year anniversary, TERA

En Masse Entertainment is celebrating the one-year anniversary of its action-MMORPG TERA. The journey wasn't without some hiccups, though. After a somewhat shaky launch in 2012, TERA underwent a transformation, re-launching in early 2013 as TERA: Rising, a free-to-play version of the game with all the same features and gameplay minus the monthly fee. Say what you want about the change in business model, not many MMOs survive even one year. And since the switch, TERA: Rising seems to be doing better than ever before.

This is cause for celebration! And in doing so, En Masse is hosting some in-game events throughout the month of May. This includes a loading screen contest which will feature winning fan submissions as loading screens in game, daily in-game tasks which reward players with raffle items, a new 10- and 20-person Kelsaik raid, and in-game mystery boxes filled with rare and valuable prizes.

It wouldn't be an anniversary unless we look back at some of the game's milestones and achievements. So En Masse has put together an all-new infograph showing off plenty of TERA's statistics. Details range from how many players of each class have died in PvP to auction item records to numbers of guilds in the game.

Looking ahead, there's still plenty of fresh content and features coming to TERA: Rising. According to En Masse, fans can look forward to an expansive 20v20 battleground featuring tanks, cannons, and airships, as well as the introduction of the player-drive alliance system.

Enjoy the infograph below and happy anniversary, TERA!
