Relic Entertainment's new trailer for Company of Heroes 2 is firing shots at traditional first-person shooters. While I love Call of Duty and Battlefield as much as the next guy, Relic is looking to offer a "new warfare experience," one that allows me to experience the fight from "above the battlefield."
The latest trailer, cleverly titled "Above the Battlefield," shows off the real-time strategy game's three main types of warfare — infantry, vehicle, and aerial. It seems that mastering all three will be your key to victory on the Western front.
After a brief delay by SEGA, Company of Heroes 2 is now due out on June 25 for PC and Mac.
