Flower is no longer a PS3 exclusive

Flower — which released in 2009 from Thatgamecompany, the maker of hit indie game Journey — has been a PlayStation 3 exclusive for years. It won't be for much longer.

Soon the game will harness the touch-screen and motion-sensing powers of the PlayStation Vita.

On PS3, Flower uses the DualShock 3 controller's tilt functionality. Players control the wind at their own pace and guide flower petals around an open environment, causing the world to change.

The Vita version will be viewable at the IndieCade exhibit at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) this June.

Studio Thatgamecompany celebrated its seventh anniversary this month.
