EA has revealed Need for Speed Rivals for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 during their E3 press conference
Need for Speed Rivals focuses on the centuries old war between cops and racers. With Rivals the line between single-player and multiplayer will be destroyed. During a single-player game someone can seamlessly jump into your game and into a police cruiser (that is, an extremely fast cruiser).
Rivals has SmartGlass integration, a third player can use an iPad and drops traps to sabotage players from a top-down perspective. Everything is in real-time.
The release date has not been announced but expect a trailer to drop into this post!
