Journey and The Unfinished Swan combine to make a sweet PSN bundle

If you haven't yet played Journey and/or The Unfinished Swan shame on you. These two incredible indie titles rocked the PlayStation world when released and now Sony is giving you a chance to experience the beauty of them — in a bundle for just $14.99.

"They evoke wonder and mystery, and chart new territory in the world of games," said Santa Monica Studio creative director Nathan Gary. "Together, they are amazing examples of what makes the PlayStation experience so special."

For those unfamiliar, Journey was an award-winning titled from thatgamecompany that provides a unique vision of an online adventure experience. You awake in an unknown world where you walk, glide, and fly through a vast and awe-inspiring landscape while discovering the history of an ancient, mysterious civilization. Journey's unique approach to online play encourages players to explore this environment with strangers who cross their path. By traveling together, players can re-shape the experience, creating authentic, memorable moments. The game scored a 9.5/10 here on GameZone.

The Unfinished Swan hasn't garnered as much attention, though it was positively received by both critics and fans alike. The game sees you play as Monroe, a 10-year-old orphan that follows a swan that has stepped out of an unfinished painting into a surreal, storybook-inspired kingdom. With each chapter bringing new surprises, The Unfinished Swan is described "a game about exploring the unknown." It received a 9/10 on GameZone.

Giant Sparrow president and creative director Ian Dallas added: "We’re incredibly happy to have The Unfinished Swan bundled with Journey because our game owes such a big debt to Journey and all the other games from thatgamecompany.

"It’s not too much of a stretch to say that our game wouldn’t exist without them. I think it was the warm reception for flOw and flower that gave Sony the courage to fund our game, made by another team of inexperienced folks with unusual and impractical ideas. Beyond just the financial success of thatgamecompany’s games I think Sony was excited by how strongly PlayStation players responded emotionally — it was encouraging to see that players were so willing to embrace games that were quite different from what they were used to playing. Which is great news for us, since our game is pretty strange."

Check out the Sony store to purchase this amazing bundle for just $14.99.
