The Humble Origin Bundle continued on its torrid pace this weekend, with the latest sales figures reportedly topping $9 million.
"The Humble Origin Bundle has reached over $9 million in sales! We can't thank you all enough for your support!" the company said on Twitter. Earlier in the month, the bundle became the fastest to reach $100,000 in sales, doing so in just 25 minutes. Exactly one week, it became the most successful bundle offered, beating out the Humble Indie Bundle 5's record of $5.1 million. Even more amazing, The Humble Origin Bundle still has two days to go before its August 28th deadline.
For those unfamiliar with how the Humble Bundle works, you basically pay what you want to get the games being offered. The Humble Origin Bundle packs Dead Space, Crysis 2 Maximum Edition, Mirror's Edge, Dead Space 3, Medal of Honor, and Burnout Paradise: The Ultimate Box — for whatever you want to pay; however, if you pay more than the average price (currently $4.91), you'll also get Battlefield 3, The Sims 3 with two Starter Pack add-ons, as well as the recently added Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3 – Uprising and Populous. All of these titles would amount to $215 if purchased on their own.
