The latest visual novel from Aksys Games is a little … weird. Sweet Fuse: At Your Side is now available in stores and the PlayStation Network for PSP and Vita, and it's all about finding true love and saving Mega Man designer Keiji Inafune from an evil pig … what?
The "otome" game (a romance plot aimed at female players) stars Saki Inafune, whose uncle, Keiji Inafune, is apparently opening a new amusement park in Japan — the largest yet. That's when a malevolent pig named Count Hogstein crashes the opening and takes everyone hostage, including Keiji Inafune. Seven hot bachelors help her solve Hogstein's puzzles and save the park over seven days.
Yeah, I don't really get it either, but it sounds awesome.
Sweet Fuse contains 14 different endings, lasts 30 hours, and costs $30. It's developed by Idea Factory's Otomate studio. Inafune is also known for producing the Resident Evil titles. He also worked as a designer on Soul Sacrifice for Vita.
