If you've read my Shadow Warrior review, you know that the game is full of blood and body parts. It's just a mess. And someone has to clean it up. A team-up title from developers RuneStorm and Flying Wild Hog, via the Devolver Digital Cross Promotions Department, brings us Viscera Cleanup Detail: Shadow Warrior — a free, stand-alone mini-game where you play the janitor hired by Zilla Enterprises to clean up the blood, guts and body parts after Lo Wang's first big katana battle.
You have to plan your strategy as you mop up blood and pick up dismembered body parts, because you don't want to leave bloody footprints all over or knock over a bucket of guts.
Devolver Digital CFO Fork Parker said, "This clear exploitation of two talented independent developers is really a landmark moment in my career and I can't wait to see the immense amount of personal wealth I stand to gain from this financially driven marketing stunt. Oh, Viscera Cleanup Detail: Shadow Warrior is free? In that case you can all eat my butt. Eat it right up."
Yum. Viscera Cleanup Detail: Shadow Warrior is available now for free to all owners of Shadow Warrior on Steam, GOG, Humble Store and other services.
