Google wants to teach kids about quantum mechanics through play with Minecraft. Yep, that means no boring textbooks.
The Google Quantum A.I. Lab team partnered with MinecraftEdu and Caltech’s Institute for Quantum Information and Matter. Together, they created a modpack called qCraft that enables students to experiment with quantum mechanics inside of the popular sandbox game — "with new blocks that exhibit quantum entanglement, superposition, and observer dependency."
A.I. Lab wrote, "We don’t even know the full potential of what you can make with qCraft, but we’re excited to see what Minecraft’s players can discover."
So — are people still saying video games rot your brain?
