It's the year of Luigi, so it shouldn't come as much of a surprise that Nintendo likely has plans to release a Nintendo 2DS themed after the world's second most popular plumber.
Kotaku was sent images of the alleged Luigi Nintendo 2DS. It appears to have a white casing with green buttons, with Luigi's figure carved into the back. The box proudly boasts, "The Year of Luigi."
A Luigi-themed 3DS was announced for Japan, but hopefully this 2DS version will make its way to America.
