World of Tanks took the award for "Best Online Game" at this year's 31st annual Golden Joystick Awards. It beat out League of Legends and Dota 2, which placed second and third in the category, respectively.
Last year, Wargaming's team-based armored warfare game claimed "Best MMO of the Year."
World of Tanks is free to play and debuted in North America in 2011. It's set during World War II.
The Golden Joystick Awards depend entirely on online votes from gamers. The ceremony was presented at Westminster Bridge Plaza, London.
