Nintendo has released classic action-platformer Mega Man X2 on the Wii U Virtual Console.
The Super Nintendo original launched in 1995 and is also available on the Wii Virtual Console. The digital title now costs $8 on Wii U, complete with off-screen play so you don't hog the TV as you die for the hundredth time.
Players guide Mega Man X through eight stages to destroy Sigma's (from Mega Man X) remaining Mavericks. It introduces vehicles like the mobile attack cycle.
