Painkiller: Hell and Damnation developer The Farm 51 officially revealed today its brand new game, Get Even. Due out in 2015 for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4, Get Even looks to "blur the lines" between single and multiplayer experiences. And if you watch the teaser trailer, you'll see it's attempting to do the same with graphics, as Get Even is the first game to use large-scale, real-world scanning to create lifelike environments. Appropriately titled, "What is Real?", The Farm 51 challenges you to watch this new Get Even teaser and, well, tell what's real and what's game. THIS, ladies and gentlemen, is next-gen.
The technology being used is called Thorskan and is developed by Polish company Better Reality. While it's normally used for film by studios like 20th Century Fox, The Farm 51 is making the bold leap by using it for video games.
