Microsoft today announced two future updates for the Xbox One. The first will be arriving next week and is more of a dashboard update, adding the ability to manage and see your storage space and returning the battery power indicator light, among other things. The second update will prepare your Xbox One for the launch of Titanfall, but won't actually arrive until March 4th.
Microsoft shed some light on next month's update, explaining it will contain "many new features and improvements, most significantly to [the Xbox One] party and multiplayer systems."
With Titanfall being a team-based online multiplayer game that heavily relies on communication, Microsoft wants to ship the new party and multiplayer system ahead of the game's March 11th release.
"This post is the first of many announcements and sneak peeks at features in the system updates," Microsoft said. "We’ve been carefully listening to your feedback and look forward to delivering many new features that will make Xbox One even better. We’re just getting started and can’t wait to share more information in the coming weeks."
