Microsoft announced today that Forza Motorsport 5 is the best-selling racing game "by console attach rate over the past decade." Getting a little more specific, the platform-holder revealed that more than one-third of Xbox One owners have purchased the game since its launch on November 22. To put that into context, over three million Xbox One consoles were sold in 2013.
Celebrating the game's success, Turn 10 Studios is rewarding fans with a free track. Road America is available today for free and will be automatically added into the Career events for the racing career. The track will also feature four alternate ribbons that will "test the limits of each and every player," a first for the Forza series.
While the Road America track is free for everyone, players can also opt to purchase the Road America Booster Pack which contains five cars: 2006 #2 Audi Sport North America R8, 1995 Chevrolet Corvette ZR-1, 1968 Ferrari 365 GTB/4, 1971 Ford Mustang Mach 1, and the 2009 Mercedes-Benz SL 65 AMG Black Series.
