Bungie wants those of you who pre-ordered Destiny digitally through PSN on PlayStation 4 to rest easy. "You will be able to access the Beta come July 17th," the developer assured PS4 owners.
Over on Bungie's forums, MoonDawg posted the following message on behalf of Sony and Bungie:
Greetings Guardians,
If you pre-ordered Destiny digitally through PSN on PlayStation 4 and are wondering where your Beta code is, fear not! We now have official word from Bungie and Sony that you are being looked after.
When the Beta draws nearer (July 17th if you didn't know), you will receive an email or direct message through the PlayStation Network with details on how the Beta will work. Keep in mind, you will NOT receive a Beta code through this pre-order method. When the time comes, your Beta access will be provided automatically as a reward from your digital pre-order.
Bungie just wrapped up the First Look Alpha for Destiny on PS4. Beta is expected to begin on PlayStation consoles on July 17.
