If there is one thing that that the Dark Eye and more specifically the Blackguards franchise does absolutely right, it's nailing the archetype of the anti-hero. From a storytelling standpoint, the anti-hero standpoint throws out the iconic hero tropes and allows for, well, anything. I love this.
