2011 E3 Game Critics Awards Revealed

E3 2011 showed off an abundance of blockbuster titles that will be hitting consoles sometime in the future, but which games were lucky enough to earn a Game Critics Award? Today the 35 voting publications for the awards released their E3 list, and unsurprisingly, BioShock Infinite dominated.

Infinite took home the coveted Best of Show award, along with three other awards. Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim won the Best Console Game award, and DICE’s Battlefield 3 won Best Online Multiplayer. What was surprising about the list was that Infinity Ward’s Modern Warfare 3 took home zero awards. While there is no doubt that the game will move an insane amount of units, it is still surprising to see the game that started off the Microsoft press briefing not take home at least one Game Critics Award.
