20th Century Fox will not hold a Hall-H Panel at Comic-Con 2016

Comic-Con is notorious for showing exclusive trailers for upcoming blockbusters to attendees, but some of these exclusive trailers have a tendency to leak onto the vast realm that is the internet. Of course, some of the studios behind these trailers get pretty upset. And who can blame them? No one wants the first impression of their film to come from a off screen recording of a movie that isn't even completed.

According to The Wrap, 20th Century Fox is taking action against these leakers by pulling out from the legendary Hall-H schedule. Hall-H is where all the big studios show off all their big films, so the fact Fox is pulling out is a very big deal.

Last year, Fox showed a trailer of X-Men: Apocalypse to Comic-Con attendees but the effects weren't completed so they had no plans to release it online, but fans of course pulled out their phones and recorded the whole thing for the internet.

Fox has a pretty big schedule lined up for the next year with a film adaptation of Assassin's Creed due out at the end of 2016 and a third and final Wolverine standalone film currently in production, so it's upsetting to know we may not get any panels with the cast of these films or see any footage.

Is Fox right to pull out or should they accept the way things are now and just release their trailers the moment they show it at the panel to avoid frustration? Let us know in the comments below.

Fox's next movie X-Men: Apocalypse releases May 27th, 2016.
