$299 Uncharted Nathan Drake Collection PS4 Bundle is here through Cyber Monday

If you plan on upgrading to the PlayStation 4 this year, you'll probably want to do so this weekend.

While retailer ads have revealed PS4 prices as low as $299 this year, Sony has confirmed the special price on the Uncharted Nathan Drake Collection PS4 Bundle will be for this weekend only. In a post on the PlayStation Blog, John Koller, SCEA's VP of PlayStation Brand Marketing, confirmed the special price will be available "in the U.S. for Black Friday only, starting Thursday and extending through Cyber Monday." Normally, the bundle is priced at $349.99 — still a pretty decent value considering all you're getting.

As a reminder, the bundle includes a 500GB PS4 with Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection, which contains the single-player campaigns for Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, and Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception. It's a good way to familiarize with one of PlayStation's most notable exclusive franchise ahead of the release of Uncharted 4: A Thief's End in March 2016.

It's worth noting that while Sony says the $299 price is valid for Black Friday weekend only, it's also possible retailers could extend the promotion through the holidays or tweak it as they see fit.
