2K offers workaround for MyCareer crashes on Xbox One

2K Games is aware of WWE 2K15's  "potential issue" on Xbox One — the one where the game "may crash" after you try to save your custom Superstar character after creating it.

"We are currently investigating this," 2K said, promising and update when they've learned more. In the meantime, they did at least offer a workaround "that seems to work" when the issues occurs: Disable your console's internet connection and then enter MyCAREER.

If you aren't sure how to do this on the Xbox One (since the tiles can be a bit confusing), simply follow these steps:

  1. On your Xbox home screen, select "Settings".
  2. On the Settings screen, select "Network".
  3. On the Network screen, scroll down to the bottom of the first column, where you should see "Disconnect wireless" or "Go offline" (depending on whether you have a wireless or wired connection). Select this option.
  4. When you want to reconnect to the internet, return to this screen and select "Go online".
