2K Sports released today the official trailer for NBA 2K14, the latest NBA basketball game for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
Lebron James of the back-to-back NBA champions Miami Heat was announced as the cover athlete earlier this summer. James is also producer of the game's soundtrack, hand-picking which songs he wanted. One of those songs is featured in the trailer: "Hate Me Now" by Nas feat. Puff Daddy.
The way the trailer is edited makes it seem like everyone hates Lebron James — which would've been the case two years ago. The trailer shows a highlight reel of plays by NBA superstars, including James Harden, Rajon Rondo, Dwight Howard, Tony Parker and Blake Griffin.
NBA 2K14 releases on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on October 1.
