2K teases possible BioShock announcement with image of Eve’s Garden

2K is up to its usual shenanigans, teasing something related to BioShock.  A new game perhaps?

It's hard to tell based solely on the Twitter post which included an image of a poster for BioShock's Eve Garden, along with a vague caption that asks: "Oooo, what COULD this mean?!"

According to the BioShock wiki, Eve's Garden was an exotic dancing venue in Fort Frolic, featuring a small central stage with metal poles, a bar, and seating area for patrons to watch performances. "One of the most well known performers at Eve's Garden was Jasmine Jolene, the erstwhile mistress of Andrew Ryan," the Wiki explains. Players explore Eve's Garden in the original BioShock story and it also appears in the multiplayer for BioShock 2.

So what does this tease mean exactly? A remastered version of BioShock for Xbox One and PS4 or something completely new? With San Diego Comic-Con this weekend and Gamecom and PAX Prime on the horizon, there's plenty of opportunity for 2K to make a splash. But will that splash be BioShock related?

Back in February, Ken Levine announced the closure of Irrational Games, the studio behind BioShock and BioShock Infinite. Rather than scrap the entire franchise, Levine handed over the reins to 2K. This could be the first of their plans.
