Sports Announces World Poker Tour Video Game Now Shipping To Retail Stores
Across North America
NEW YORK, NY – October 18,
2005 – 2K Sports, a publishing label of Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc. (Nasdaq:
TTWO), today announced that the World Poker Tour® video game has shipped to
major retailers across North America. Offering real players and broadcast
presentation elements that mirror the popular television series, the World Poker
Tour video game is also the only poker title to incorporate real world venues.
The World Poker Tour video game is available for the PlayStation® 2 computer
entertainment system, Xbox® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft
and Nintendo Game Boy® Advance.
Combining world-class venues and
real poker pros, World Poker Tour allows gamers to take a seat in the world’s
most prestigious poker tournaments. With insightful commentary by World Poker
Tour hosts Mike Sexton and Vince Van Patten, players can compete against the
virtual equivalents of pros such as Antonio "the Magician" Esfandiari, Erick
Lindgren, Evelyn Ng, Lyle Berman, Michael "The Grinder" Mizrachi and Phil
"Unabomber" Laak. World Poker Tour gives gamers the chance to compete against
players across the country, set up poker nights, chat live via Xbox Live® online

features six Tour-exclusive casinos. These include The Bicycle Casino in Bell
Gardens, CA; Commerce Casino in Commerce, CA; Bay 101 in San Jose, CA; Foxwoods
Resort Casino in Mashantaucket, CT; Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa in Atlantic City,
NJ; and The Aviation Club de France, in Paris, France. These real-world
locations are completely accurate, right down to the carpeting, lighting, room
décor, and floor layout.
