"MCC needs to be authentic to Halo and the PC platform"

343 Industries and Splash Damage have shared some nice details about the progress of the PC version of the Halo Master Chief Collection. We get so see a sneak peak of Halo Reach’s menu UI and learn more about the design pillars the two studios have for the PC port of the Halo anthology.

After years of rumors and teasing, Microsoft finally did the unimaginable last month and announced that the premier Xbox exclusive Halo is headed to the PC in form of the Master Chief Collection. The expansive collection of classic Halo games first made an appearance on the Xbox One during the early days of the then-new console way back in 2014.

A bit more after a month since the announcement, 343 Industries and Splash Damage are now sharing more details. Most important here is that both parties are truly committed on delivering a quality product and not disappoint Halo fans worldwide with a shoddy console port. To show this, we get a first look at the Halo Reach menu UI. It may sound trivial but PC gamers are only too familiar with subpar ports having atrocious menus. Seeing how much attention Splash Damage is putting into even such aspects, instills us with confidence that once the Halo MCC lands on PC, it’ll have been worth the wait.
