35 top developers name their favorite past-gen games

GameInformer’s End of an Era developer list shows that the top-rated games of 35 developers—whose work experience covers Call of Duty, Borderlands, Uncharted, Halo, Dragon Age and more—aren’t all that different from consumer favorites.

Grand Theft Auto V, BioShock, Journey, Limbo, The Last of Us and various installments of Uncharted are frequent list-toppers. Of course, in a poll across such a broad discipline range—scriptwriter and environment artist to president and co-founder—some wild cards are bound to pop up, not the least of which are Darksiders and Nascar 09.

Feel free to spam the comments with your favorite past-gen games. Curious about our favorites? Well tough, you’ll have to make due with our Best Games of E3 2014.
