North America now has a launch date for the Nintendo 3DS. Gamers looking forward to the release of the handheld can expect it to land in the states on March 27 at $249.99. Three of the confirmed launch window titles are Nintendogs + Cats, Steel Diver, Pilotwings Resort, and Super Street Fighter IV 3D Edition (which is confirmed for day one). Other titles listed as “coming soon” include: Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor Unlocked, Rayman 3D, Resident Evil: The Mercenaries, and Dead or Alive Dimensions.
The 3DS will launch in two colors: Aqua Blue and Cosmo Black. No other colors were revealed, so it’s safe to assume that these two will be the sole designs for the first model Nintendo 3DS.
Gamers looking to get a 3DS on launch day can now preorder Nintendo’s upcoming dual screen system on Amazon.com.
