Hurry up and check some actual unedited gameplay footage from Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War before Activision ninjas manage to scrub it from the internet. The leak comes via Reddit user iTsBluEyx who has shared 6 minutes of multiplayer gameplay. Watch it below!
The leaked video is far from a perfect representation of the final game, obviously. There are still several months until Black Ops Cold War launches on November 13th. That’s more than enough to vastly improve pretty much every aspect of a game! Whether it’s visuals, balance, or mechanics.
Even worse, this new footage clocks in at a measly 480p resolution with some darn awful video compression to boot. It really bears mentioning that forming your final opinion on the game solely by this video would be a fool’s errand.
Nonetheless, it does show what direction Black Ops Cold War’s multiplayer mode is going for. More importantly, veteran CoD players have managed to decipher what they’ve seen as following:
- Brand new VIP escort mode
- Movement similar to Modern Warfare 2019
- Health bar on enemies and the player.
- Didn’t see any sign of doors, nor tactical sprint, nor mounting.
- Five attachments once again, maybe that Gunsmith/Pick 10 hybrid was true. That dudehad shotguns as secondaries, six perks, a wildcard, one lethal, one tactical and a field upgrade. In another class, he had three perks, but two lethals and two tacticals with a different wildcard.
- Intro to the match was more cinematic than Modern Warfare
As mentioned before, don’t go around thinking this is what the final build of Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War will look or play as. It’s an early glimpse at the direction of the upcoming new CoD at best. And to be frankly, the ridiculously bad video quality makes it pretty much impossible to discern any meaningful visual effects.
