8-bit movie posters make films look like games

I don't watch many movies. Part of the reason for that is because I can't really sit still for a couple of hours watching characters on the screen doing stuff without me instructing them via a controller. Call it a control freak thing, or just call it a disinterest in movies.

Still, I can appreciate some neat promotional art for movies. And if artists are to, say, take certain films and create crazy 8-bit promo posters for them, I'm certainly all for it!

Graphic designer Eric Palmer has released some awesome artwork for oodles of different films, and it's all 8-bit stuff, so you know it's pretty amazing. Check out some of his tributes on Behance.

I'm a huge fan of retro and indie gaming, so it goes without saying that I love a good 8-bit piece. You'll find posters for films including V for Vendetta, 300, The Dark Knight, and Kill Bill. It's pretty cool, and I would recommend checking them out.
