80% of PS4 owners have never played one of PlayStation’s best franchises

Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection may have only checked in with a 79% "anticipation level" in Nielsen's recent ranking of "Most Anticipated Holiday Games of 2015," but Naughty Dog believes the compilation, which bundles the first three game's in the studio's blockbuster Uncharted franchise, has the potential to match the success of The Last of Us Remastered.

That's because Naughty Dog's research revealed that a whopping 80 percent of people that own a PlayStation 4 have never actually played an Uncharted game. "That's one of the reasons why we thought remastering it would be a good idea," Naughty Dog community strategist Eric Monacelli revealed to MCV.

With Uncharted 4: A Thief's End being Sony's flagship title for 2016, and so few PlayStation 4 owners actually having ever played an Uncharted game, it's no surprise we're getting a remaster of what is arguably the best franchise in PlayStation's catalog.

Do you plan on picking up The Nathan Drake Collection when it releases?
