A Boy and His Blob release date announced

Last August, Majesco Entertainment released an announcement that promised a cross console release of “A Boy and His Blob”. Today we were given a release date, January 19^th.  The game will be released on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. The original game was released on the NES by designer, David Crane.  A trailer was released today that gave us the definitive release date.

“The Boy and His Blob” is a high-definition, re-release of the classic. The story follows an alien being who travels to earth in search of help to save his planet, Blobolonia. The blob finds help from a young earthling boy, and adventure ensues. The concept is that a player continuously feeds their extra-terrestrial companion an assortment of jelly beans that will in turn be made into helpful tools to complete missions.
