Gearbox has released a teaser for Borderlands 2's next piece of downloadable content. It's the same teaser that Gearbox showed during its SXSW Interactive panel, but with much better quality.
The main draw of the next DLC seems to be a brand new melee character capable of brutally smashing enemies to pieces with its bare hands. I say "its" because I'm really not sure if the new character is male or female. All I gathered from the teaser is that it's some sort of "experiment" that has escaped from beneath Pandora.
The addition of this new vault hunter means there will now be six playable characters in Borderlands 2. The game initially launched with four characters, but Gearbox added Gaige, the Mechromancer, last October. It's assumed that Gearbox will officially lift the curtain on the new upcoming DLC — and finally unveil this new character — during its PAX East panel, which is set for 12:30 pm in the Main Theatre on Sunday, March 24.
