A Pokemon & WWE combined video game?

Wrestling video games fans wish were real...

WWE Superstars and Divas have featured in wrestling video games for many years, but imagine seeing members of the current roster pop up in an arcade title.

Some might argue that arcade games are a little outdated for modern times, but these seven ideas posted onto WWE.com have been met with a chiefly positive response on social media.

So, let's have a look at some of the ideas…

‘Escape The Compound 2,’ 1991, Sega Genesis (Featuring The Wyatt Family & Paige)

In this horror title Bray Wyatt is looking to add another member to his family, and it seems Paige – who had a flat tire and was left stranded near their compound – is a desirable target for the 'Eater of Worlds.'

You must manoeuvre the British character out of the Wyatts' sights and exit the compound, otherwise "Paige will soon follow the buzzards."

Dean’s Dirty Deeds,’ 1996, Sony PlayStation (featuring Dean Ambrose & Seth Rollins)

J&J Security are back and they're hunting you down. After Seth Rollins turned his back on his 'brothers' Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns, it's your job to play a few tricks on Mr. Money in the Bank.

In an attempt to make Rollins' life a living nightmare, the playable character Dean Ambrose will "sneak, stalk, commandeer and boobie-trap" items in the arena.

That is not all. In an online Hot Dog mode players will be able to connect with, and prank, friends – coming together as a fairly funny idea.

‘Heyman Guys: Brock Edition,’ 1998, Gameboy Color

"Ladies and gentleman… Last but almost certainly not least. The one that you have been waiting for, the one in twenty two and one, the conqueror and soon to be the reigning, defending, undisputed, heavyweight champion of the world… My client, Brock Lesnar."

Imagine a Pokemon-styled game where you are Paul Heyman, arguably the best sports entertainment promoter in history, and you get to choose who to recruit as the next Paul Heyman Guy. Well if you're interested in that idea, look no further.

But who would be the best WWE catch of them all? Who would help Heyman conquer eight gym leaders on his way to the main event at Wrestlemania? Would it be Brock Lesnar? Would it be John Cena? Would it be Cesaro?

Fans can only hope WWE act fast and bring this game to fruition, but until then we can only wait.

The games above are only three of the ideas that were posted on WWE.com, there are several others. If you would like to check them out or read more about the ones above click here. Also, let us know which is your favourite in the comments section below.
