A Shovel Knight amiibo is heading our way

Reports coming from GAME, an UK-based retailer, suggest that we might be getting our hands on a Shovel Knight amiibo later this year.
Earlier today GAME took to Twitter to announce the new figure, but their tweet was quickly taken down. The retailer confirms prior reports suggesting an official Shovel Knight amiibo is indeed in the works.
According to the screenshotted tweet, the figure will work across multiple games, including future Nintendo products from developer Yacht Club Games. Shovel Knights amiibo is set to launch November 27th while per-orders go live tomorrow.
Earlier this June, we also learned that Shovel Knight will be getting a physical release, Shovel Knight will be coming to North America on October 13th and Europe on October 16th. The physical copy will cost $20 and will be available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, Wii U, and 3DS.
