Indie puzzler A Virus Named Tom has been available on PC for quite some time, but it's now headed to the handheld market and making its way to the Vita this summer. The announcement was recently made by Tim Keenan from developer Misfits Attic. In addition to Sony's handheld gaming platform, A Virus Named Tom is also undergoing certification for PlayStation Mobile.
To celebrate the announcement, the Steam version of the game is currently available for 50 percent off ($5.99). This deal is already underway and will run through Friday, February 22.
In other news, Misifts Attic is also working on a couple of prototypes for new games at the moment. One of these is being touted as a mix between Chess and Magic the Gathering. It makes sense then that it would be aptly dubbed "Chess the Gathering." More info on that project is coming soon, as are details on two other prototypes from the studio.
