As an epic worldwide war draws nearer, EA today revealed the penultimate army in RISK: Factions, the upcoming Xbox LIVE Arcade game. A militia of brain-starved zombies, led by the cadaverous Colonel Claus Von Stiffenberg, will join the previously announced armies of humans, cats, and robots in the imminent battle for world domination.
In addition to the five unique factions in the game, RISK fans will also find new maps with dynamic terrain elements that can enhance or complicate a player’s strategic position; cunning generals can flood enemies out of territories, avoid nuclear fallout, and control missile silos to gain the strategic upper hand.
In this newly released video from EA, we revisit robot faction leader Commondant SixFour as he attempts to fend off the overwhelming human and feline opposition with some unconventional weaponry—and gets a bit more than he bargains for.
RISK: Factions will launch on Xbox LIVE Arcade this summer.
