ABANDON INTERACTIVE ENTERTAINMENT REVEALS NEW
OBJECTS, PARTS AND POWERS IN UPCOMING FREAKY ADVENTURES
Players Battle New Monsters in PvE Missions,
Uncover Unique Items and Gain Power-Ups In First Major Content Update for Freaky
Creatures
Abandon Interactive Entertainment today revealed
new details and screenshots about Freaky Adventures, the upcoming expansion to
the evolving Freaky Creatures universe. Scheduled for release in Q4 2009, Freaky
Adventures will present players with player versus environment interaction for
the first time as they explore previously uncharted territory within the Freaky
Creatures MMOG. Offering new gameplay, new environments and new experiences,
Freaky Adventures will challenge players to improve on their creatures’ skills
as they encounter new characters, obstacles and mysteries navigating through
this unfamiliar realm.
Freaky Adventures is the first major content
update for Freaky Creatures, offering new missions and allowing players to
venture into unexplored territory beyond creature lairs and battle arenas,
including the all-new Verduran jungle environment. The screenshots reveal some
of the new objects, parts and powers that players can obtain by defeating
monsters within missions. Most missions are available to free-to-play members,
while a few select missions are available exclusively for premium members.
The first four characters players will encounter
are Alexx Stargazer, Miri Soria, Violet and Ulutu. Ulutu is an entirely new
character who is a member of the tribal Velon race which resides on Verdura.
Each character has a range of missions that lead to increasingly difficult
missions upon completion. Travelling to missions is instantaneous in Freaky
Adventures, so players spend more time adventuring, not waiting for the
challenges to arrive. The map icon located in the lobby brings up locations and
missions, and the mission log allows players to review their status and
objectives as they progress through the game. Some of the exciting new objects
displayed in the Freaky Adventures screenshots include a mystical Kolorg Horns,
an effective Ankyo Tail for walloping Trapperns, and the wicked Ssorak
Snakeblade. A rare Ssorak Shield and newly discovered Reptine Tail help players
defend themselves from monsters as they complete missions. To navigate the
dangerous jungles, players can use Fireel Fin headpieces, Frolan Growth wings
and a Klonk Hammer.
Freaky Creatures is now available for purchase at
comic, hobby, electronic and toy retailers nationwide. The game is also
available at Best Buy, FAO Schwarz in New York City and f.y.e. stores
nationwide. To try out the game for free, or to purchase your very own Freaky
